Recycling your mattress is better for our environment. You help reduce carbon footprint and minimise the waste that ends up filing our landfill. More importantly, mattress recycling can repurpose and reuse the parts of your old mattress, such as springs, coils, foams, wood, and upholstery.

At Mattrec Automated Mattress Recycling, we recycle your mattress through our unique patented process. Our groundbreaking technology uses ultra high-pressure (recycled) water and automated handling systems to deconstruct your old mattresses.

We can recycle all types of mattress, from box springs, memory foams, and other specialty mattress foams.

We will collect your old mattress right at your doorstep. From your home, we will bring the mattress to our facility and put it through the world's first automated mattress recycling process.

We make sure the all recyclable materials are repurposed to create new usable products. Steel springs get recycled into new steel products, while soft materials (i.e. blended with plastic wrapping) can be used to make garden furniture, or landscape and filtration products, We are actively working towards a goal of 100% recyclability of your mattress.

Compared to other waste, mattresses occupy 400% more space. That is why mattresses recycling makes a difference in reducing the volume of landfills. By recycling your mattress, you not only reduce the negative impact on landfill, but also help recover valuable materials, such as metals, foams, and fabric, that can be reused and repurposed.

Because we collect your mattress promptly and hassle-free, there are logistics and operating costs involved. We also use our proprietary technology to recycle your old mattresses and have fees to cover these expenses. We are cheaper than many waste centres, especially when you factor in our collection service.

The price is $75 per item (piece). Please note that if you cancel your collection prior to the agreed collection day, then there is a flat admin fee of $15 deducted for any refunds.

No, you don’t need to bring your mattress to us. To offer you maximum convenience, we will collect it from you at your property at a time suitable for you.

Yes, that’s our specialty! At Mattrec, you can trust that we will arrive at your doorstep after you make your booking. Our mattress collection team is available five days a week until 4 pm.
